Teler, on your own computer.
Teler Desktop gives Teler its own window, syncs folders from your computer and lets you know when work is ready. For macOS, Windows and Linux.
Working in a terminal? Get the teler CLITeler Desktop for macOS
Open the .dmg and drag Teler to Applications. On first launch, choose Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac: a “Chip” line means Apple silicon, a “Processor” line means Intel.
Teler Desktop for Windows
Run the installer. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
Teler Desktop for Linux
Make the AppImage executable and run it, or install the .deb with apt:
chmod +x Teler-*.AppImage && ./Teler-*.AppImage
sudo apt install ./Teler-*.debNot signed yet. Teler Desktop builds aren’t signed yet, so macOS and Windows ask you to confirm the first time you open it. Each download shows how.
What it adds
Teler in its own window.
The same Teler you use in the browser, signed in and one click away, with what a browser tab can’t do.
- Its own window The Teler web app in a window of its own, in your dock or taskbar.
- Folder sync Choose folders on your computer, and Teler Desktop keeps them synced into Teler in the background.
- Notifications Know when a chat finishes, a file is ready or an Agent alert opens.
- Updates It checks for new versions and lets you know when one is ready.
